Hello,
In my search for more info on application/octet-stream, I came across
this posting. I'm in need of some help in trying to have 2 templates
appear in the same frameset--one (content page) appearing in the top
frame and one (nav bar) appearing in the bottom (using Dreamweaver). The
top template works just fine, but the bottom template doesn't work in
Netscape. Both do just fine in IE.
In Netscape on the MAC I get the message:
"You have started to download the file navbartemplate.dwt of
"application/octet-stream". Click more infor to learn how to extend
Netscape's capabilities."
In Netscape on the PC, it just wants to download the template to the
hard drive.
Strange.... have you come across this before? Do you know if there's
some sort of patch I can add so netscape can handle 2 templates in one
frameset?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Joan Pacos
