I commited my patch to fix the 0001 problem and to add a new
configuration option startmsgnum, as agreed.
Oh, I almost forgot... the showhr option is now deprecated, however, I
hand't changed its default value to 0. This resulted in a warning
message appearing each time.
My plan is now to clean those obsolete options and code. I had only disabled
them so far.
