hypermail problem

hi

i got a problem under my install of hypermail on a SunOS 5.5

-first i extracted the hypermail files to my folder "hypermail-2.1.5"
-then i wrote ./configure
anderfo@brutus:~/kyb2006/hypermail-2.1.5$ ./configure
-and make
anderfo@brutus:~/kyb2006/hypermail-2.1.5$ make

...but when i had tested it i should run "make install":

anderfo@brutus:~/kyb2006/hypermail-2.1.5/src$ make install
../install-sh -s -c -m 0755 hypermail /usr/local/bin
cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/bin/#inst.10296#': Permission
denied
make: *** [install] Error 1

can you help me? the install/readme files did not answer to this problem, at
least i didnt find it...
