I am confused about what you are asking. You want to archive a Usenet
newsgroup into an archive similar to the mail archive "Hypermail Development
List" ? If this is the case take a look at 'rkive' located at
ftp.landfield.com:/rkive. It is a Usenet news archiver. rkive is used
to do what you seem to want it to do. Take a look at using the external
command feature. Hypermail would be setup as the external command for
rkive to use to process the inbound news messages either as they arrive
or if desired, from a batch file. Very easy and very powerful...
