MySQL List: Is anyone have experience with replication ??

Hi, I notice on the MySQL list
(http://www.ultraviolet.org/mail-archives/mysql.2001/6205.html) that you
had the exact problem I have:

> 010105 15:44:40 Slave: Failed reading log event, reconnecting to
retry, log 'FIRST' position 4
> 010105 15:44:40 Slave: reconnected to master
'php@192.168.0.6:3306',replication resumed in log 'FIRST' at position 4
> 010105 15:44:40 Slave: received 0 length packet from server, apparent
master shutdown: (0)

Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I can't seem to be able to get
replication working. Any help would be appreciated.
