Hi,
I have a mailing list archive that used to run under hypermail 2b29, and
recently moved to a different computer and hypermail 2b30. Now, the
threading does not work anymore.
If I take a message from the archive, and click [ respond to this
message ], that corresponds to the URL, say:
"mailto:boldhsv@jobim.colorado.edu?Subject=Re:%20BUG%20FIXED:%20guided%20search%20for%20CTL&In-Reply-To=<3ABB843B.C8D4D127@colorado.edu>".
However, when I receive the message, the header is (I have changed the
subject):
>From roderick.bloem@colorado.edu Fri Mar 23 11:11 MST 2001
Received: from colorado.edu (rbloem@localhost [127.0.0.1])
by jobim.Colorado.EDU (8.9.1a/8.9.1) with ESMTP id LAA26361
for <boldhsv@jobim.colorado.edu>; Fri, 23 Mar 2001 11:11:26
-0700 (MST)
Sender: Roderick.Bloem@colorado.edu
Message-ID: <3ABB91CD.C13B1E3A@colorado.edu>

Note that there is no In-Reply-To field! No wonder threading does not
work. But how come? Is there something wrong with netscape? I use
4.61. There is no manual for netscape, and I do not know the syntax of
the mailto: URL, so I don't know what is going wrong here.
It also seems to be a coincidence that this happened when we upgraded to
2b30. It happens both on pages generated with 2b29 and on pages
generated by 2b30.
Do you have any idea what could be going on? I would very much
appreciate your help!
Thank you,
Roderick Bloem
