Problems installing on Irix 6.5

Hi. I was trying to install the latest version of hypermail on Irix 6.5, and get the following error:

cc-1020 cc: ERROR File = parse.c, Line = 2466
  The identifier "set_usegdbm" is undefined.

            if (set_usegdbm)

There are many unused variable errors floating around too.
