Here are the details
1. The Hypermail version is hypermail-2b30 on Windows NT
2. I have attached the batch file which I am using to run the hypermail
and
also the ,rc file. Please go through them
3. I will give u an example of what happend
I used my netscape mailbox file and ran the hypermail through it. Some
of the
mails contained MS word files as attachments.
When hypermail was run, the hypermail created subdirectories
corresponding to
the mail and created the attachment files
there. For example, There was a doc called 'MisMatch.doc" attached in
one of
the mails. After running hypermail, hypermail
had created and attachement file corresponding to this as
"01-MisMatch.doc"
and in the HTML mail file there was proper link also.
Now If tired to open this perticular doc file "01-Mismatch.doc" in MS
Word (let
alone clicking on hyper link), the word gives an error saying
" Word Cannot open the document
Try one or more of the following
* On the File menu, click Open to open the document
*Make sure the document has a .DOC extension
( L:\R2\Docs\FROM ESPD\...\01-MISMATCH.DOC)
"
The same type of error comes when tried to open the MS XL files or MS
power
point files generated by Hypermail
4 If I save the attachment doc file directly from the mail, and compare,
I I
don;t find any size difference
5. I have attached with this mail a ms word document file. I request u
to run
hypermail of ur mail box so that
my mail (this mail) is processed by the hypermail. Then try to open
the
created attachment word file using word
You may find the problem I am facing
