Are you running on NT? If so, you need to find the place that opens
the output file and write to it with O_BINARY or "wb", depending on
whether it's open() or fopen().
Which reminds me, I need to get my Windows patches into CVS.
Anyway, Hari, if that's your situation, write me, and I'll show you
where to patch it.
As to the existing files, I'm afraid they're past help unless you can
resurrect them from the mbox file.
