Hello,
A couple months ago I set up http://lists.insecure.org , an archive of my
favorite security mailing lists. Hypermail performed admirably at this
task! I am also looking forward to better support for automatically
splitting list traffic by week, month, quarter, or year. I ended up using
some procmail hacks for that.
I think there may be a small bug in contrib/hypetombox.pl in that it does
not reset 'header_count' to 0 for each message as it loops. While I was
fixing that, I made a few more changes:
-- Reinitialize "header_count" to zero for each message (bugfix)
-- Added -H (additional header) option (useful for filtering messages)
-- Added -t ("To: " field) option in case you don't want the default
of 'To: bogus'
-- Extended the date formats accepted in "Received:" headers
-- Added 'a' option to append to the mailbox rather than clobbering
it.
-- Updated usage info
I am attaching a patch. Let me know if you have any questions (please CC
me as I am not on this list).
Also, I noticed that hypermail-2b30 is not in the 'development' directory
(where you have 18-29). People who click your "Development versions" link
are likely to get the older version (29).
Anyway, thanks for the great software!
Cheers,
Fyodor
