Ok, started usually with:
hypermail < file
and my .hmrc is appended.
The output for the first is:
[rene@harry tests]$ hypermail < first
Erstelle Verzeichnis "archive", Mode 755.
Lade Mailbox...
Erstelle Verzeichnis "archive/att-0000", Mode 755.
Erstelle Verzeichnis "archive/att-0000/.meta", Mode 755.
0 Nachrichten.
No mails to output!
and the second is:
[rene@harry tests]$ hypermail < missing_thread
Lade Mailbox...
3 Nachrichten.
Schreibe Nachrichten in "archive"...
Schreibe Datums-Index in "archive/date.html"...
Schreibe Thread-Index in "archive/index.html"...
Schreibe Subject-Index in "archive/subject.html"...
Schreibe Autoren-Index in "archive/author.html"...
(Here subject, author, and index are OK, but thread list is empty; if I have
more messages there, most of those appear in thread list)
