Hi,

I've just tried to compile hypermail with a different version
of gcc and it ran throuth without problems.

Works:

Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/2.7.2.3/specs
gcc version 2.7.2.3

Don't works:

Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-linux/2.95.2/specs
gcc version 2.95.2 19990906 (prerelease)
