Simple Web Indexing for Stupid Humans (Extended)

In the current version (v. 1.3.2), you can compile the indexer with or
without a spider. Default setup in the config files is to index for
file systems, as I recall. Also, look for AutoSwish -- a basic CGI
interface for making your index searchable using a web browser. The
entire thing takes about 10 minutes to setup if you know what you are
doing. First time might be an hour or so...

There is somebody on the list, <swish-e@sunsite.Berkeley.EDU>, maintaining
an NT version which came out with v 1.3.1 or v 1.3.2. I have not used it,
and it is maybe not stored on the UC Berkeley website above, but there
is undoubtedly a link to it there.
