Dates missing from Thread replies

Hi,

I'm curious why Replies to main Thread messages are lacking dates in the
Thread listing. Is this desired? I prefer to see the dates myself.
Opinions?

Example:
paternity Staeck, John (Tue Mar 16 01:32:40 1999)
          Paternity Reid Nelson
          Re: paternity Michael A. Lewis
          Re: paternity Michael A. Lewis
          Paternity Reid Nelson
          Re: Paternity J. Michelle Schohn
