Hi
I feel that I ought to tell you all that recent changes to Hypermail (already
in the CVS repository) includes:
o Alisdair Davey <ard@mithra.physics.montana.edu> Helped me point out
a bug in mprintf.c. It made the *printf() routines fail on %.*s
constructions. I am considering an upgrade of the mprintf stuff to
my newer "trio" stuff... This caused URL-ified email-adresses to get
really weird looking at times.
o %f in the header/footer file gets replaced by the file name of the
generated HTML file.
Also a little clarification:
Recent Hypermail versions are designed to allow ALL necessary configuration
to be made in the config file. You should *never* have to edit options.h
or any other source file to alter configurations. I know some docs still
say you should, but that's only because no one has updated them yet.
If you find anything that isn't configurable in the config file or with a
command line flag but is possible to tweak in the source and you want to do
just that config, please let me know!
I am still waiting for more bug reports. I was told by several persons that
my recent versions are unstable. I need your mailboxes and config files that
cause hypermail to crash so that I can correct those problems.
